Greetings and Salutations!
This is an addendum to the original MoonCursor 2 docs, describing how the resources included differ.
The file called “MoonCursor2” is the original unmodified version of the animated cursor (acur) for System 6’s Finder, as released Happiware by Jim Trudeau. See the accompanying documenation file for more about Jim and Happiware.
The file “MoonCursor2 Sys7” is the same pictures but the resource ID number for the acur resource itself has been changed to match that expected by the System 7 Finder. The IDs of the cursors themselves have not changed, so installation of MoonCursor doesn’t actually overwrite the cursors used by Finder normally, so they’re still around, making things easier to change back if you don’t like the change. (A little examination of the acur resource will enable you to fingure out how to.)
